Caregiver Burden Before and After Enrollment

Before enrollment, most caregivers are experiencing Severe or Moderate to Severe Caregiver Burden

SEVERE BURDEN indicates You and your loved one’s welfare are at serious risk. You must get help now.

MODERATE - SEVERE BURDEN indicates You are trying to do too much. It is time to seek out respite and support and make yourself a priority and part of your loved one’s care plan. If you were hospitalized now or passed away who would take care of your loved one?

After even one month of enrollment, caregivers report significant improvement in caregiver burden.

LITTLE - NO BURDEN: While it may seem excessive, seeking support now will give you a solid foundation for care later.

MILD - MODERATE BURDEN: This may seem like harmless or normal levels of stress, but this is often the tipping point for caregivers. Now is the time to plan with your loved one.
